</p><p>Apple&#8217;s iPhone is making great strides these days.  A recent <a title="AdAge iPhone Article" href="http://adage.com/digital/article?article_id=138602" target="_blank">article</a> in AdAge Digital alludes to the fact that there&#8217;s a corporate shift from RIM&#8217;s Blackberry &#8212; a long-favored staple in corporate IT world &#8212; to the iPhone for a number of reasons.  Even some government agencies are making the switch. </p>
<p>And Mashable <a title="Mashable iPhone 1.5B apps" href="http://mashable.com/2009/07/14/iphone-15-billion-downloads/" target="_blank">reported</a> last month that Steve Jobs said the iPhone is &#8220;winning&#8221; with more than 1.5 billion (yes, Billion) apps being downloaded, making it really difficult for Blackberry and others to keep up. </p>
<p>Even CNET states, &#8220;the <a href="http://www.cnet.com/apple-iphone.html">iPhone</a> continues to garner huge buzz, <a href="http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-9987993-37.html">long lines</a>, and a growing share of the cell phone market,&#8221; in their <a title="CNET iPhone Editors Review" href="http://reviews.cnet.com/smartphones/apple-iphone-3gs-32gb/4505-6452_7-33674173.html?tag=contentMain;contentBody" target="_blank">recent editors&#8217; review</a>.  The long-awaited growth of mobile platforms to support social networking and other mobile technologies is, perhaps, here to stay. </p>
<p>iPhones sales aren&#8217;t even bothered by the recession.  In fact, the Apple Store in NYC is highest grossing retailer on Fifth Avenue.  Check out the Fast Company story <a title="Fast Company Apple Store Sales" href="http://www.fastcompany.com/blog/clay-dillow/culture-buffet/apple-store-highest-grossing-retailer-fifth-avenue" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
